Even if we do not have this impression, the European institutions are much more transparent than many national government. Is the information provided the right way? Does it really reach European citizens? Maybe not.
I find harmonisation a very good thing if it's not on the basis of the lowest common denominator in terms of quality. Having similar systems would encourage students to travel and study abroad much more than they are willing to today. They would not be afraid of loosing a semester bec
