Don't you think there should be a court that companies can appeal to if they get hit by stupid claims? Or a more proactive idea would be to introduce guidlines for what it acceptable. I suppose the main limitation is how you define stupidity, it's a bit subjective.

Exactly. Our own Health & Safety Laws at work say that employees are to take an active part in looking after their own safety, and that they have a responsibility to ensure work tools are fit for use.
