There are a great many of your fellow Britons who would pass for the sort of foreigner you say you despise. Even though I can barely follow the Doric and don't like deep fried mars bars,Aberdonians are just as British as I am. This is obviously not including all the immigrants from outside the EU.

One of the advantages that I see for the UK in being part of the EU. Is the possibility that the UK can give way gracefully along with France and allow the Indians, for instance, to take their place as an emerging economic and military power.

It is also important that the EU ensures that companies and trading partners who supply cheaper products than homegrown European products and supply 'outsourcing' services are subject to the same high standards european companies must supply for employees.
