<title>Formally adopt the old USSR political role model</title>
 <link>http://www.european-citizens-consultations.eu/uk/proposal/2118</link>
<description>Let&#039;s stop pussyfooting about and declare what the true intentions are for our future superstate, let&#039;s not wait for the legalities to be settled.
For years the commission has been run like the old politburo, in secrecy and to its own agenda. Well, this has to stop. People have to understand the new realities, and calling a spade an implement of the people, is where it is all at.

<title>Freedom of choice on natural medicines and therapies</title>
 <link>http://www.european-citizens-consultations.eu/uk/proposal/2117</link>
<description>When is the EU going to admit it got it totally and utterly wrong when they started to effectively ban natural therapies and medicines, by playing along with the sweet talking generous men from Big Pharma.
The EU has already got their armies of little Hitlers out checking natural health stores for those natural supplements that didn&#039;t make the approved list.
The commissioners and MEP&#039;s swallowed the crap that the drug companies dished out about how they spend millions in testing their products, but natural supplement suppliers did not have to and that made them bad.

<title>Making the case for lower taxation across the EU</title>
 <link>http://www.european-citizens-consultations.eu/uk/proposal/2081</link>
<description>High taxation de-motivates both on a personal level and an economic one.
Low taxation stimulates investment and helps to raise the standard of living, resulting in a more contented citizen.
Many poor would not be so poor if the basic cost of living was relatively cheap, and they could live off the basic wage.
Additionally, if this could be arranged, they would need less in the way of supporting benefits, and taxation could also come down.
There should be no taxation on food, clothes or dying.

 <title>Improve European Democracy!</title>
 <link>http://www.european-citizens-consultations.eu/uk/proposal/2067</link>
<description>The Citizens’ Initiative - first set out in the Constitutional Treaty - should be enacted immediatley to open a new channel for democratic participation in Europe and help to create the public realm the EU badly needs.
The Citizens&#039; Initiative stipulates that a petition with at least one million signatures obtained from a number of Member States may be sent to the Commission inviting it to take a legislative initiative, provided the latter is compatible with the EU&#039;s rules and principles.

 <title>European Financial Supervisory Agency</title>
 <link>http://www.european-citizens-consultations.eu/uk/proposal/2051</link>
<description>This is an attempt to make a truly pan-European proposal, coming from Budapest. Most large European banks, including large UK banks, operate in Europe, so we need a European Financial Supervisory Agency to effectively supervise them. Banks with subsidiaries or branches in other EU countries or outside the EU would need a European banking pass and would automatically come under the EFSA. This would make their supervision more effective.

 <title>A Clean Sweep</title>
 <link>http://www.european-citizens-consultations.eu/uk/proposal/2011</link>
<description>A clean sweep of the UK-sponsored EU fraud and corruption, starting with the &#039;Objective 1&#039; frauds.
Before any substantive progress can be made, citizens must have confidence that the EU is the right organisation in which to place trust for the future. Currently, this trust can not placed, not least because of the massive EU-wide multi-million pound fraud and corruption and the failure to achieve an unqualified independent audit that is able to sign off the EU&#039;s books.
