Having grown up in Britian to two European parents, my father who's British and my mother who's German. I noticed that where as we only had to go to the Home office officer (does that make sense?). She had to go to the consulate at Manchester (when it still was there) and later, London.
My point is that I think that every member state should offer, alongside their own passports; another passport that is available to all EU citizens.
It would just make everyone more equal, regardless of the member state in which we may be living.
